B.Sc.

I am a MSc student (Cell & Developmental Biology) in the Moritz lab. I am characterizing autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa-associated rhodopsin mutations in rod photoreceptor cells using transgenic X. laevis. I am interested in the localization of mutated rhodopsin, the level of retinal degeneration occurring, and the mechanisms of which retinal degeneration is caused by the mutated human rhodopsin.

I enjoy hiking, camping, and soccer in my free time.
